deepc and Nordic Medtech welcome Helse Sør-Øst RHF to deepcOS

Nordic Medtech AB, a leading provider of radiology artificial intelligence for the healthcare in the Nordics, has the honor to announce that the company has been awarded a framework agreement for the AI platform, deepcOS, within the healthcare region of Helse Sør-Øst RHF in Norway.

With one installation and a fully configurable network setup, deepcOS enables streamlined access to a vendor neutral portfolio of 70+ market-leading radiology AI solutions, securely hosted within the deepcOS cloud, for effortless integration into the clinical workflow. Customers have the option to test and choose which AI solutions best meet their organizational requirements, while always having access to the latest AI innovations.

The platform deepcOS created by the German company deepc, delegated by Nordic Medtech AB, has been globally recognized as a leading platform and sets the standard in compliance and security, offering an enterprise-grade governance framework that helps organizations meet their compliance requirements in a harmonized and scalable way.

Pierre Vestman, CEO at Nordic Medtech AB stated, “we are delighted with this framework tender outcome in the biggest radiology artificial intelligence tender in the Nordics and as one of the biggest in Europe. We are looking forward to working together with Helse Sør-Øst RHF in implementing and improving the radiology performance as well as the workflow in the region. Together with deepc’s platform, Helse Sør-Øst RHF will be able to choose freely from a wide range of AI algorithms.”

The central integration to both deepc’s and Nordic MedTech’s AI portfolio reduces not only the technical effort but also the required legal agreements, which are imperative to data protection.

The ability to easily integrate AI in healthcare is vital for addressing today’s challenges. With rising patient volumes and the demand for second opinions, resources are stretched, and medical teams are under increasing pressure.  Integrating AI classifiers can support physicians, for example, in the reporting of X-rays, MR, or CT scans – including AI as a CE approved second reader - and help them prioritize cases, reducing the time from admission to the emergency room to discharge, and providing for efficient allocation of scarce staff resources, ultimately supporting better medical care.
